By looking at either sidebar on our website you will notice that we like board games. I can be a little obsessive about them in fact. I read blogs about them, watch video podcasts about them, and talk to people online about them.
A little while ago I applied to review games for BoardGameNews. My first chance came a couple of weeks ago when I got an email inviting me to help a group of people review a new implementation of Monopoly called Monopoly City Streets.
Monopoly City Streets is an online game that uses Google Maps. It allows you to buy actual streets all over the world and then develop them with apartments, sky scrapers, and stadiums.
I was given a preview of the game, which was opened to the public today. BoardGameNews also published its review today, which included my comments. You can check it out here. My comments are at the very end of the article. I’ll give you a preview, few of the reviewers were satisfied with the game.
I’m really excited about getting to be a part of this site and hope that I get more chances to review games for them. Whenever I do I’ll let you know.
