When you live in a place like Nashville you expect to see famous people. You might go to church with them. You may occasionally know one or two people with some fame. So when you do see someone famous it isn’t that exciting. It becomes mundane. Or at least you have to play it cool and act like it is.
When you live in Hawaii you don’t expect to see someone famous. So when we saw Sayid from the TV show Lost at the mall we got pretty excited.
Here is what we learned. Sayid uses the same car seat that we do, a Britax Marathon. Now that is an endorsement! Apparently he endorses BMW, too.
When we got home we also did some digging to learn a few more things. For example, Sayid has a real name. It is Naveen Andrews. We also wondered who the blond woman he was with is? Based on a number of sources online he is in a long term relationship with Barbara Hershey. Since we didn’t really look at her, we can’t confirm if that is was her.
What does this have to do with riding the bus? Both times we saw him today we were either walking to or from the bus stop at Kahala Mall. We would have totally missed him if we had been able to drive.
Maybe we won’t start looking for a new car.
